Why is Yamaha Still Selling the Rhino?

Could be that they are cozying up to the government officials at the Consumer Product Safety Commission. In July of last year, Yamaha had several CPSC officials out to ride the Rhino with Yamaha employees. “No Formal Discussion Meeting” was held. See the official memo by clicking here.

Sounds like a political junket to me- the kind with lavish luncheons and so on. I wasn’t there, so I can’t say for sure, but it makes one wonder. Meanwhile, injuries and deaths in the side by side UTV continue to mount. By the way, this fun fest happened in July, and the CPSC released the note to the public in December. Go figure.
